Due to trademark problems (YoYo is a registered trademark in Canada), Caribou Lodge Yoyo Works is going to change its name into CLYW Inc. Also, their website (www.cariboulodgeyoyo.com) will be down. The official source for CLYW yoyo will be the www.cariboublog.com for now.

So, Goodbye CLYW, heil CLYW Inc.!

Rollout+Roo-yo=Calabrone aka Hornet

Wednesday, 17 March 2010 · 0 comments

The long waiting is coming to an end! Finally we can enjoy the photos of the first prototype of the new Rollout and Roo-yo prototype: the Calabrone, that means 'Hornet' in Italian (hence the double name).

This is the result of a collaboration between Rollout and their international member Xela (Alex Val). It's completely made in delrin and makes use of the Roo-Yo centering system (hence the collaboration with Roo-yo).Those who were at the B!ST contest last weekend were lucky enough to give it a try. As Ralfgun from Rollout told them, this prototype is quite heavy (the final version will be lighter) but, despite this, it plays very well. At the moment we don't have any spec.

Anyway, the news is that Zannix (Kin Kwan Wong)is the new member of SPYY Team. He recently won CNYC in the 1A cathegory playing with, guess what, a Punchnline.

You can read the complete story here.
